Tonight there was some drama in our house because a minor/major injury (the severity varies depending on whether you ask Carolyn or her parents) involving a small cut to the finger and a Band Aid that fell off flared up and was still hurting at bedtime. I went in to talk to Carolyn about it and once she calmed down, we had the following conversation that made me laugh.
Carolyn grabs the dolly in her bed and says "The dolly will feel it better. She will take it and put some healing lotion on it and it will feel better, okay?"
I was glad the dolly would "feel it better" and the pharmacist in me was pleased that the dolly came complete with some "healing lotion" (aka Neosporin) :)
