15 Months seems like a milestone. My baby girl's growing up! Here's a little bit about what she's like at this fun age.She walks everywhere like a little speed demon. Her tiny little feet still turn in a little bit so she kind of waddles and it's so cute. She wants very much to run but her legs really aren't ready yet. She kind of almost runs in circles until she falls down.
She is a bright and communicative child. She is starting to have her own ideas about things, but for the moment she is still pretty compliant and easy to distract.
She's starting to talk a lot more. I haven't done as good of a job of counting her words as I did with Carolyn, but here are some of my favorite things she says. She probably has a total of about 20 words at this point, new ones coming several times a week now.
-Mama (my favorite word... she says "Mama" whenever she hears the door chimes when the door opens. So cute).
-Sih (sister)
-Na (no)
-Yeah (yes)
-Fsh (fish)
-Bah! (bath)
She also signs- when she really wants something, she's more likely to sign than to speak. She uses "please" as a catch-all for anything she wants. She knows "more," but doesn't like to use it. She really loves to sign "eat." I see that one over and over and over. She also likes to sign "milk." It's especially cute when she reeeeeally wants something and signs "Please EAT" or "Please MILK!"
Things Nora loves:
-Sister's art station- we are forever trying to keep her out of the colored pencils and markers
-Bathtime
-Shoes
-Strawberries
-Eggs
-the rubber ducks in the bathtub (for chewing on).
-Music! I'm not sure if it's because she's been in Kindermusik since she was 6 weeks old, but she just loves to dance and move to music!
Things Nora hates:
-Taking medicine
-Being told "no!"
-Diaper and clothing changes
15 Months is such a fun age! We are thoroughly enjoying Nora at this age!
